The food was a decent bit above what I expected but it's not excellent. The service and atmosphere however is wonderful, The overall ambience of the restaurant was fantastic and the actual service you get from the people that work there is stellar. It's also a small restaurant so you don't have to worry about waiting for your server to come back around You can always see them.
The food was pretty good, although some items were pricey for reasons unknown. While we did come at lunch hour, service was a little slow. I tried one of their desserts called affogato (means 'drowned' in Italian) and it was quite good for the price charged.
Our first time spent at the moo creamery was such a wonderful experience. This gem had excellent service and food. We will definitely return. We had the pork eggs Benedict which they only serve on Saturday and Sunday. My mom said it was one of the best eggs Benedict she’s ever had! My husband had the baked French toast. I could tell by him smacking while he was eating it was delicious. I had a salad they went above and beyond to accommodate me with. I am a cancer patient who eats fruits and veggies only. They have freshly squeezed orange juice as well. That was so yummy!!! Their patio is dog friendly as well. I loved this restaurant!!!
What a great restaurant! Freshly made food with many handmade, local ingredients, good beer and drink selection, and delicious ice cream!!! The staff are friendly and the ambiance is fun and welcoming. This place is becoming a favorite spot of mine and some coworkers when we're in Bakersfield for business. Can't wait to try them at the new, improved location once they move!
Tasty burgers and rich, creamy homemade ice cream in unique flavors. They even list the source of the nuts - local farms! Almonds were in every single spoonful of my scoop!
I ordered a basil lemonade, bacon & brie burger, & also got a hot chocolate to go. Everything was absolutely delicious. They make everything in house. The buns, potato chips, basil syrup all in house. They even make their own marshmallows for the hot chocolate. (Which is seriously the richest hot chocolate I've ever had in my life btw.) This place seriously deserves you stopping in for a bite. Everything here is made with love & you can taste it in the meal.
I thought I'd just pop in on my way through town. I thought "who would be here at this out-of-the-way place,?Luckily I got there at 10:00am before the crowd arrived. They have great food. I had the protein sweet potato waffles. They were great and (I hope) not fattening lol. But they hit the spot. I sat at the bar and that's a nice atmosphere. Some people were drinking and the drinks looked great. Appears to be lots of locals. That's my kind of place!
Came in for brunch and it was moderately busy but had no wait. Love that they have pastries and ice cream up for display. Really makes your sweet tooth ache coming in. We had a egg and biscuit breakfast along with a breakfast burger. The burger was a mess with the egg yoke, but probably one of the best I've ever had. Service was great and responsive. Didn't have to wait long for anything. Setting is like a retro diner, but also has a modern bar area. Great for smaller groups. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in town.
